The variety that goes on in a class to stimulate learning in different ways, while also having breaks and refreshers on past topics. I haven’t felt overwhelmed and always feel equipped to tackle the learning material at hand.».

« This course has given me a great opportunity to immerse myself in the French language and culture, which are not present where I’m from. The teacher and the « moniteur » are very helpful and passionate about their job and about helping the students as well. The exploration is also very fun and informative as well. ».

« [Je ne changerais rien au programme], je pense que la balance entre la conversation et la grammaire est parfaite. On apprend beaucoup de choses théoriques, mais il y avait vraiment un accent sur l’oral, et j’aime ça! On pratique toujours. Tout le personnel de l’UQAM va me manquer. »
« Jasmine is a very skilled teacher for adults. She is always attentive to each student and provides lots of opportunities for conversation, as well as content and grammar. I especially enjoyed Point-à-Callière. Truly a world-class musée. I loved her conversational approach! Communication was the focus, as it should be. She was lovely in that she always took questions and made everyone feel like a part of the class, as she tried to differentiate her instructions.”
