Enseigner le fran\u00e7ais s\u2019est impos\u00e9 comme une \u00e9vidence<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb, she confides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iman Barakat holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in French language and literature from Cairo, a certificate in teaching French as a second language from UQAM, and a diploma in translation (French\u2013Arabic) from Universit\u00e9 Lumi\u00e8re Lyon 2. Today, she draws on her linguistic and intercultural expertise to offer teaching that is rigorous, respectful, and full of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Courses where Human Connection is at the Heart of Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What Iman Barakat loves most about teaching is the richness of human interaction. \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Ce qui m\u2019\u00e9tonne toujours, c\u2019est \u00e0 quel point j\u2019apprends de mes \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Chaque groupe est unique, chaque cours est diff\u00e9rent : il n\u2019y a jamais deux journ\u00e9es pareilles.<\/em><em>&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her background in human resources and translation has helped her develop keen listening skills and a profoundly human approach.&nbsp;In her classroom, trust, adaptability, and kindness are essential pillars. She creates concrete, varied, and meaningful activities rooted in the learners\u2019 realities and goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Teaching is also Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iman Barakat continues to be amazed by the richness and diversity of her groups: \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Derri\u00e8re chaque personne, il y a un parcours, une culture, une langue, une histoire. <\/em><em>C\u2019est une source d\u2019apprentissage et d\u2019inspiration constante.<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She measures her pride through her students\u2019 progress and renewed confidence: \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Les voir oser s\u2019exprimer, se d\u00e9passer et prendre plaisir \u00e0 parler fran\u00e7ais, c\u2019est ma plus belle r\u00e9compense. Leurs sourires, leurs remerciements, leurs r\u00e9ussites et leurs t\u00e9moignages positifs me touchent profond\u00e9ment et me donnent encore plus envie de continuer.<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Teaching Approach Grounded in Experience and the Joy of Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Convinced that the key to success lies in immersion and consistency, she encourages learners to live the language daily.&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;<em>Il faut s\u2019immerger, stimuler sa curiosit\u00e9 et prendre plaisir \u00e0 apprendre<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb, she reminds us. Iman Barakat teaches French at UQAM\u2019s Non-Credit Language Courses, where she supports learners from all backgrounds with the same passion: for the language, for sharing, and for human connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The courses are open to all levels and designed for those wishing to improve their oral or written French.
