Objectives

This specialized course is aimed at people working or studying in an English-speaking medical environment.

  • Establishing initial contact with clients and colleagues
  • Understanding a medical problem
  • Summarizing a medical situation
  • Requesting additional details based on patient symptoms
  • Formulating questions to identify various health issues
  • Addressing appropriate topics in sensitive medical situations

Pedagogical Approach

All themes covered include vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation concepts. When applicable, the learner participates in activities simulating real-life scenarios encountered in a medical environment. In this context, the following linguistic elements will be put into practice:

  • Theoretical presentations
  • Speaking exercises
  • Interactive activities
  • Role-playing and simulations

To emphasize the importance of precise language in medical settings, special attention will be given to cultural considerations.

Certificate

A certificate of participation will be issued to participants who complete at least 70% of the course.
